A JEALOUS GOD

Few years ago on live broadcast with a New-Age teacher and author Eckhart Tolle, Oprah Winfrey said, " I took God out of the box because I grew up in the Baptist church and there were rules and belief systems and doctrine. I happened to be sitting in church in my late 20s. I was going to this church where this great minister was preaching about how great God was and how omniscient and omnipresent and God is everything. Then he said, “The Lord Thy God is a jealous God.” I was caught up in the rapture of that moment until he said jealous. Something struck me. I was thinking, “God is all. God is omnipresent. God is all and God’s also jealous? Boredom & Human Inventions Vs. Reconciliation

Just as the Earth circling the Sun, we were made to orbit around God's glory. We are not aimless wanderers consisting of soil and feelings.  After we bore ourselves out by Television paparazzi, Radio gossips, creepy war stories on Newspapers and nudity across the pages of magazines, we decided to upgrade reality shows, then tamper with socio-cultural values. When we were not convinced it was much fun we went further to distort all that was sacred and sane.  Man is on a quest to keep his soul continually entertained, his mind is addicted to the invention of ways of living that threatens his existence. The world is drastically changing. Ten years from now, I would have to teach my children that husbands are not necessarily males and not all wives are females. The porous nature of this present time should wake us up through the night. The change of laws, the relativism of morals, what is the aim of it? It seems man is in a desperate contention with his maker.  Despera...
