WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL: LET GOD DO THE THINKING

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Matthew 6:25-27 KJV

A lot of damages have been done to the human body and lives generally because we always try to figure out our lives by ourselves. People have died prematurely due to heart attacks and high blood pressure. Worst case scenario people had terminated that God given life in them by committing suicide. I read a gory story of a man who emptied a gallon of gasoline on himself and set himself ablaze, because he could neither afford tuition fees of his kids nor give his dead mum a proper burial. What terrible price men pay when they ignore the word of God.

If we are going to spend the remainder of our days on earth in health, peace and joy, we must listen to just what God says. To enjoy the full benefit of a product, it is advisable you adhere to the manufacturer’s instruction. We must adhere to the instructions of our creator because He designed us and is fully aware of our potentials; else we’ll malfunction and self-destruct. We were commanded not admonished, to take no thought or worry about the basic needs of life. How much more other complicated circumstances? If we are not to worry or think about how we’ll thrive, who does the thinking then? Isn’t it obvious yet that God does? Jeremiah 29:11.
Do your kids worry about what to eat and wear? No, they have you for that.  They only ask you to supply the request to their needs.

Allowing God be your Think-Tank will rescue you from many sleepless nights. Do not attempt to do God’s job because you’ll wear out in no time. It’s not in the job description of man to worry about the affairs of his life, his marriage, unemployment, health etc. Quit figuring things out, start giving it to God and you’ll get results. Two drivers cannot steer the wheel of a car at the same time. Let it go and God would latch unto it. Make sure you are giving up all your worries and thoughts to God daily because your health and life span depends on it.

LONELY HOBBIES

Within dark, loneliness My company the wind Every glass painted, Images of him Every mirror tainted, Reflections his Walls Echoes chants humming silence Hide and seek He is my thoughts Shattered, Glass and crash His picture frame Ordered, By shaky hands Dark sky draws near The moon reminds He isn't here I grow teary eyes They pick above Shinny tiny gems In shadowy nights I stab the sand with finger and hearts I sprawl on tiles Memories linger From his clothes Arise his haunting smell The spell of him Enchanting I Till I knot his ties Cherishing the hands That knot them once The bathroom wall Reminds, Sparkling his smile I watched him go So went my smile Till he's home These hobbies will I For what is love With little or no despair. Psalm 701

Song and prayer of Saints 1 Thou hast cleansed our eyes and it cannot behold iniquity. 2 Thou hast purged our minds from strange imaginations and our thoughts from sinful meditations. 3 Surely, thy grace hath made us loathe sin and every unrighteousness: 4  Our lips thou hast touched with thy fiery coal; profanity is an abomination us and we detest the way of lying. 5 Your fear is our inspiration, therefore we hate wickedness. 6 Thou hath made us to know your paths, O Lord your righteousness is exceedingly great. 7  We will praise thee more and more for in your salvation there is exceeding joy: 8  Our feet shall dance and our lips will sing, for thou alone art holy. 9 Teach us O Lord, and keep us in remembrance of your great name everyday. we will lift our hands to thee, our soul doth bless thee, indeed our soul doth bless thee. 10  We will not wickedly depart from our God, yea we will not go astray; thy Spirit hath strengthened us, tho...
