Just as the Earth circling the Sun, we were made to orbit around God's glory. We are not aimless wanderers consisting of soil and feelings.
After we bore ourselves out by Television paparazzi, Radio gossips, creepy war stories on Newspapers and nudity across the pages of magazines, we decided to upgrade reality shows, then tamper with socio-cultural values. When we were not convinced it was much fun we went further to distort all that was sacred and sane.
Man is on a quest to keep his soul continually entertained, his mind is addicted to the invention of ways of living that threatens his existence. The world is drastically changing. Ten years from now, I would have to teach my children that husbands are not necessarily males and not all wives are females. The porous nature of this present time should wake us up through the night. The change of laws, the relativism of morals, what is the aim of it? It seems man is in a desperate contention with his maker. Desperate to self-destruct himself.
"Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, 'What are you making?'

The human mind is on a quest for fun. We get excited by new things and new ways of life. We may call it self discovery or path to discovering self, but sooner we would become bored like little children un-amused by last week toys. We have shut God out of the Churches, schools, government offices and public places. The ten commandments are now a property of public disdain across the streets. The teachings of the Bible about sanctity of life and unionism in marriage is now classified as "Hate Speech".
Except man stick to the original design by the creator, this ever changing world remains meaningless. The solution to human emptiness is not inventions of new lifestyles but the old message of reconciliation with God
Man cannot function the way he ought to any longer, why? He has totally abandoned the creator's design. Societal malfunctioning is not a wiring problem, it’s a problem of Identity. Except man stick to the original design by the creator, this ever changing world remains meaningless. The solution to human emptiness is not inventions but reconciliation back to God.
God created us to love Him and live for him (Deuteronomy 6:5), any man cut off from that uniqueness risks solitude and depression. Nothing is more satisfying as living out your design. The quest for Isolation from God is driving us nuts. The world is not boring; we simply went cold on God our creator. Just as the Earth circling the Sun, we were made to orbit around God's glory. When man isolated himself from God his identity, he fell into perpetual darkness, his mind became a slave to unaided thoughts and ideas that ran through his dark mind. We are in a age of moral recklessness, what is happening to global economy is happening to our reasoning and inference base, one word for it is BANKRUPTCY. We are in a world where we have lost grip of our will to resist evil, we are haunted by our inventions and plagued by unbelief of everything except our lost selves.
The catastrophe in all this is that our pride will not allow us agree we are so lost. We are the generation who welcomed "SELF" to the pantheon of gods. we are Self-motivated, Self-inspired, Self-employed, Self-mentored, Self-knowing, Self-confident, Self-sufficient and on and on, we go on in Selfishness.
However, the day a man turn to God his creator, light beams on his dark setting.God through Christ offers you direction, a prism to view life and HE grants you the wholeness to live through this present fading world.
“For it was in Him (Christ) that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent]. For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him p permanently. And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross".
